The Mountain Belles are a dynamic women's barbershop chorus that is dedicated to enriching the community through musical excellence, performance, service and education. Based in Truckee, California, the group was formed in February 2003 and currently has 11 active members ranging in age from 30 to 65, all of whom reside in the Truckee and Donner Summit areas.

A shared love of singing keeps the Mountain Belles practicing weekly and entertaining audiences year round. Using only a pitch pipe to get the songs going, the Mountain Belles perform a wide variety of music arranged in four-part, a capella, barbershop style. From old time ballads and patriotic crowd pleaser to traditional holiday favorites and modern upbeat songs, the group's repertoire of music is continually expanding.
